Described as a walking aid, to emphasise it’s difference in appearance from conventional crutches, the Quickstep was designed by an engineer in consultation with crutch users and the result is the Rolls Royce of crutches!
OK, what makes it so different?

• It’s telescopic folding action enables it to fold to a length of 67cm

• Extension length is remembered for use; when using the crutches and extending the height, they stop extending at the remembered point.

• The folded crutches are designed to be self supporting, with the cuff having three small feet to stand the crutch up on. Alternatively, they can be clamped onto a table by lowering the cuff extension to clamp the table between the cuff and the handle.

• They don’t look like standard crutches!

Winter Ferrules

Frost and ice present problems for getting around to everyone; when you use crutches or a walking stick, it is an even bigger problem.

Winter ferrules address the extra hazards of using you crutches on an icy surface.The ferrules are fitted with spikes in their base. The spikes can be lowered for use outside, then very easily be retracted into the ferrule to avoid damaging floors when you go indoors.
