I started using crutches from Chic Aid about three years ago because of a neurological condition. The condition means that I have spasticity in my right leg -- making it shorter than the other. Very inconvenient!
I now have to bear most of my weight through my crutches and this was really taking its toll on my hands. Kate told me about the comfort pads that she stocks and I wouldn't be without them now. You simply peel off the backing and stick them over the handles. The padded foam really relieves the pressure on my hands and makes a difference to how far I can walk. On the lilac pair in the pictures, I have even doubled up with two pads. Thanks Kate!
